Southwest Research Institute built the Lunar Magnetotelluric Sounder (LMS) flown on Firefly Blue Ghost Mission 1 (successful soft landing / surface ops class) and the Lunar Interior Temperature and Materials Suite (LITMS) planned for the cancelled CP-12 Draper host path. Instrument. SwRI also built MAPS, the ion/electron spectrometer on the Lunar Vertex lander for IM-3 / CP-11 (Reiner Gamma mini-magnetosphere). Not L-MAPS (the LTV microwave instrument).
